Sonic Boom in Seattle: Did you hear about it? – A news was spreading in the internet now about what happened in some buildings and apartments in Seattle. Apparently, some news reports stated that two F-15 jets were launched from the 142nd Air National Guard unit based in Portland, as per confirmation of Sonic Boom Case in Seattle Puget (NORAD). The military fighter jets were scrambled to respond to an airspace violation near Air Force One in Seattle on Tuesday afternoon that caused sonic booms heard throughout Western Washington.

In this view, the sonic boom was allegedly taken place in Seattle Puget Sound this August 17, 2010 at exactly 20:57 UTC while the US President Barack Obama was in the said town.

It was described that a Sonic Boom is the sound related with the shock waves generated by the supersonic flight of an aircraft. As a product, vast amounts of sound energy were caused by sonic booms and it sounds much like an explosion.

Apparently, tt was then later confirmed that the sonic booms was caused by two F-15s, a twin-engine, all-weather tactical fighter aircraft which were designed to gain and maintain air superiority in aerial combat.

Pilot Lee Dailey and his passenger, Laura Joseph testified and narrated that they were returning home after a weekend at Lake Chelan. They landed on Lake Washington in Kenmore. They reported that they saw jets as they flew between the Seattle area and the mountains.
