On Saturday, in the midst of celebrities and politicians, Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton married Marc Mezvinsky.

The wedding took place on the idyllic grounds of Astor Courts, a grand estate on the east bank of the Hudson River in Rhinebeck, New York.

Although about 500 people attended the ceremony, the wedding was very private and a bevy of family and friends were among the well-known names present.

According to CBS News, Chelsea wore a Vera Wang gown, while Hillary donned an Oscar de la Renta dress. In addition, former President Clinton appeared to have slimmed down dramatically for his daughter’s wedding.
