American jam band, Phish, just wrapped up a massive summer tour but they’re not stopping just because seasons are changing. If anything, it’s time for them to announce a new tour. The tour will start with Austin City Limits Festival on October 8th then hop on over to Colorado and then skip back over to the east side of the States to end in New Jersey on October 31st.
Of course, with the tour ending on October 31st, we all know what this means. The infamous Halloween shows will be happening in Atlantic City this year. Last year but they held the holiday festivities out on the Coachella desert grounds as part of Festival 8 but this year, it’ll be at a proper venue in a proper city. You’ll want to check out the details after the jump because, apparently, every person who purchases a ticket will receive an mp3 download of the show they attend.
Yep. Now Phish fans who wish they could have the recording of that awesome show they just experienced won’t have to settle for bootlegs. According to their website and kdsk.com, Phish fans who buy tickets will receive a free recording of the entire show that’s been mixed and polished up – all of that within just an hour after the show. Even if you’re not a Phish fan, that is pretty cool.
