The family’s spokesman released a statement to clarify things which said that Harold Dow’s cause of death was adult onset asthma.
Reports say that Harold Dow had severe asthmatic symptoms on Monday, 16th August and visited Valley Hospital emergency room. More findings from the Hackensack PD confirm the theory. The investigators found an inhaler on the floor of Dow’s car. So it is most likely Harold Dow succumbed to adult onset asthmatic attack while he was driving.

According to Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, Harold Dow is just one of the 11 Americans that die every day because of asthmatic attack, condition which can be avoided if properly taken care of.
Adult onset asthma has the following symptoms: wheezing, tight feeling in the chest along with shortness of breath and a frequent coughing especially at night in the adults that have the age over 20.

Women with hormonal changes are most likely to become the victims of adult onset asthma.
