Genevieve Gorder is a real gorgeous and heart-hitting woman of the entertainment and designing trade. Television design star Genevieve Gorder has traveled long from MTV’s Sex in the 90s. Gorder, the host of HGTV’s Dear Genevieve emerged on the show after dolling up internship with MTV. But it is clear as crystal that her passion goes to designing.
The graceful woman, who is the Minneapolis native, turns 36 today, has studies design at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan besides she has worked for several designing companies in the USA and abroad. This experience and association with MTV took her to bag an invitation to be one of the first designers on the HGTV show, ‘Trading Spaces’.
From there on started the journey of design shows for the network: Trading Spaces: Family, Town Haul and now Dear Genevieve and Design Star.
Genevieve Gorder, who runs gg studios in New York, is scheduled to make appearance on Saturday at the Parade of Homes in New Albany. The parade will start with a 2 p.m. interview on the parade stage.
When asked her about redesigning the home, Genevieve Gorder responded, “What gives me joy in a kitchen? Living room? Bedroom? That, in the end, is what a home is supposed to do.”
Genevieve Gorder has so many plans to implement and has a number of things in store for the days to come.
