5 p.m. Alright folks, here we go. Let the red carpet begin!
5:03 p.m. TV Guide and E! are gearing up with the usual: fashion recaps from last year’s red carpet. No celebs in sight.
5:10 p.m. E!’s fashion peeps are predicting lots of nude and blush dresses tonight. Oh, and maybe some edgier frocks.
5:15 p.m. Did TV Guide host Tanika Ray just make up a word? Gourgeois. Oh brother.
5:20 p.m. E! is already getting into some heavy dish: rumor has it Mrs. Ellen Degeneres- the lovely Portia di Rossi- might be the replacement for Steve Carrell’s character on the office.
5:25 p.m. TV Guide is getting into the Fall TV previews. Let’s get back to the fashion people!
5:31 p.m. Between the “Dancing with the Stars” stunt on E! and the commercials on TV Guide, this is your last chance for a snack run.
5:35 p.m. “The Hills” duo Lo Bosworth and Stephanie Pratt are getting a “Mad Men” makeover on E!. Thrilling.
5:38 p.m. Shoe moment. E! has an exclusive glimpse at Christian Siriano’s new line (fab!) and he’s all about the shoes.
5:45 p.m. E! has a “Friends” flashback. Look at that hair.
5:47 p.m. “30 Rock” starlet (and unfairly gorgeous girl) Katrina Bowden looks stunning in a purple strapless sweetheart gown.
5:50 p.m. “Dancing with the Stars” host Brooke Burke has brought the bling- look at that necklace! Oh, and she’s not telling TV Guide any clues as to the new cast of the show.
5:55 p.m. The lovely “Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland is wearing Pamela Roland and Chopard jewels. Swoon.
6 p.m. OMG! TV Guide red carpet and “Bachelor” host Chris Harrison just asked cutie Rico Rodriguez (“Modern Family”) if he wanted to be the next Bachelor. Adorable.
6:01 p.m. “No Ordinary Family” beauty Julie Benz is also in a white one-shoulder gown by Pamela Roland.
6:03 p.m. Can we all just have a Jane Lynch moment? So charming. She looks amazing in a one-shoulder deep purple gown.
6:13 p.m. “True Blood” star Rutina Wesley is in a “hand painted” Douglas Hannant gown. She says she feels artistic in it.
6:20 p.m. Kelly Osbourne talks fashion with Ryan Seacrest: “I would definitely wear what Kim Kardashian has on. She looks amazing,” Osbourne said. The blond star chose a Tony Ward frock for herself.
6:23 p.m. Speaking of, Kim Kardashian chats up Chris Harrison. She’s wearing a white hot gown by Marchesa (and it’s not one-shoulder, thank goodness!). Next up, Eva Longoria in a classic black strapless gown by Robert Rodriguez.
6:30 p.m. Okay, what’s with all the black? Add one more to the list- Kathy Griifin in a black gown. Yawn.
6:32 p.m. “Glee” star Lea Michele has upped the ante in an Oscar de la Renta gown. Breathe, Gleeks, breathe.
6:38 p.m. Betty White! Chris Harrison and the Golden Girl talk crushes, cougars and TV. Her first Emmy’s was in 1952. Wow.
