August 13, 2010 — ‘Eat Pray Love’ opens in theaters around the country today. Starring Julia Roberts, the actress had a premiere of the movie earlier in the week along with many interviews about the actual journey of filming the amazing film.
According to the Wikipedia, the plot surrounds the main character played by Julia Roberts. After trying and failing to become pregnant, a woman realizes she is not getting what she wants out of life, and, after a painful divorce, sets out on a journey across the world.
The movie is loosely based on the bestselling book and has not only the author approval but a huge Oprah fanbase who loved it too. Elizabeth Gilbert didn’t have photos of her journey so she had to trust the movie would be of similar proportions with her journey. In several recent interviews, she has had nothing but kind words about the entire film adaptation.
