Donna McCall, cheerleader for the Eagles at one time, is going to get married to her childhood and eventual lifelong crush Butch Patrick. Butch Patrick used to be a child actor in The Munsters which was a TV series in the 60s. Donna watched The Munsters with great enthusiasm and developed a crush for the child actor playing the role of Eddie Munster in the show. That childhood crush was every bit as beautiful and faithful as other childhood crushes and that got Donna writing letters to Butch. Of course at that time Donnas’ letter was one of the many fan letters that Butch got, but for Donna it was more than serious.
Eventually the show The Munsters ended, but Donnas’ communication with Butch didn’t. Her crush was never-ending and that actually did work out pretty nicely for her, because her relationship with Butch turned into a great friendship. One day Butch sent her an email that had his phone number. Donna recalls that she was very nervous when she was about to call him and she was feeling like 10 years old again, but Butch was every bit of a sweetheart that was expected of him and he out Donna at ease. He was even charming enough to let her talk to his mother, which made her even more comfortable.
After that they both decided to get engaged. Now they are waiting for the right time to get married. This way a fairy tale became a real life love story for Donna.
