Google Doodle Choose Alphonse Mucha as Featured Logo Today – Today is the 150th birthday of the famous painter Alphonse Much, and once again, the popular Google Doodle changes and feature its logo with the commemoration of 150th birthday of Alphonse Mucha.
But who is Alphonse Mucha? This is the big question for some people who are wondering why he was being featured in the Google Doodle.
Apparently, Mucha is a great and famous Czech Art Nouveau painter and decorative artist that was known for his distinct style and his images of women. His work has widely influenced modern art in a wide range of fields. Moreso, Alphonse’s famous and popular work were influential Hapshash and the Coloured Coat, designers who, in 1960, created posters for rockband like Pinky Floyd. Even the Japanese Manga, comic book artis were influenced by his famous Art Nouveau style.
As todate, Mucha’s style are being changed and revived in several famous arts such as the Sailor Moon posters. Happy birthday Alphonse Mucha!
